The Optimist Club of Aylmer is a community service organization dedicated to “bringing out the best in children and youth.” We’ve been working with children and youth in Aylmer since 1948. Optimist clubs are members of a worldwide service organization dedicated to serving the youth in their communities.
We put on our annual mainstay programs—such as Christmas Toys, Safety on Wheels, and the Catfish Derby.
The Aylmer Optimist Club building at 30 Queen Street South is available for rent to members of the General Public. It has a maximum occupancy of 100 persons and a fully licensed bar provided by the Aylmer Optimist Club. It is available for meetings, wedding receptions, baby showers, birthdays, anniversaries, etc. at reasonable rates.
